Lake Level Reports for selected Whiteshell lakes from Manitoba Infrastructure are available at https://www.gov.mb.ca/mit/floodinfo/floodoutlook/forecast_centre/lakes/lake_levels/2018/whiteshell_water_levels.pdf Big Whiteshell is currently not reporting because of a problem with the gauge. The Lake of the Woods Control Board reports that due to high flows expected throughout the winter, swift currents may make areas along the Winnipeg river unsafe, including some areas that normally have reliable ice cover.
