The Parks and Protected Spaces Branch reports that we might see smoke in the Whiteshell this weekend from forest fires in Nopiming. There is a fire that has grown to 9100 hectares. It is located about 16 km south of Bissett an 6km south of the Long Lake Cottage subdivision.
