Work has started at the new facilities at Otter Falls, Betula, and Jessica. At Jessica they did some (minor) trail re-routing already but have some more work to do once the snow is gone. Gravel & cement blocks have been delivered to Jessica. Gravel was also delivered to Betula (it was delivered to the group use area but that is just temporary storage – facility not going there) Big Whiteshell location may have to be changed to Lone Island road or Meditation road. The site they were originally looking at has some challenges. In all cases Parks is committed to doing any necessary rehabilitation (planting of trees, relocating trails, etc)
