North Whiteshell Trails Association (NWTA) has reached out to Whiteshell Cottagers Association for help to recruit volunteers to form a board.
As we all know the trails we have in the Park are treasured & extremely popular but the one’s in the North Whiteshell need some over sight to ensure they are maintained & improved for all to enjoy. Currently the NWTA is run by one volunteer, DJ Seales.

Request for Volunteers
The Trail Association of the North Whiteshell is seeking multiple volunteers for board/administration positions. Volunteers for these positions are not required to be full/part time residents of the park.
Volunteer Duties
Board/Administration positions will work as a group to coordinate and manage the functions of the Trail Association. These positions would include grants, memorial bench program, volunteer coordination, communication, treasurer, etc.)
These positions will help guide the North Whiteshell Trail including the incorporation of existing bike trails in Big Whiteshell.
North Whiteshell Trail
The North Whiteshell Trail is approx. 105km’s in length, spanning from the Seven Sister Generating Station (Dam) east to Nutimik, and south to Rennie. This trail is also part of the greater 24,000 km plus Trans Canada Trail. It’s diverse landscape contains many lakes, waterfalls, stunning exposed bedrock, and coniferous forests. It’s proximity to many Whiteshell lodges and campsites offers unlimited adventure & tourism potential.
