Update May 22 – Volunteers are needed to help load sand bags at the following locations:
8 Foot Falls Road in Pointe du Bois , Otter Falls Ball Diamond, and across from Nutimik Maintenance Yard. From there, volunteers can also be deployed from there to cottages where help is needed.
May 22 6:45 PM Update A load of pre-filled sand bags were just delivered to two locations in the north Whiteshell – the Otter Falls Ball Diamond and Pinewood Lodge. Anyone picking up bags here should bring gloves. There will be some broken bags from being transported and dumped.

We have put out a call for sandbagging volunteers on our Facebook site at https://www.facebook.com/WhiteshellCottagers/
We believe Eleanor Lake, Otter Falls, Dorothy Lake, Barrier Bay, Nutimik areas are the areas with the greatest need.
Report at 11:00 AM May 21 – Help could also be used at Otter Falls sand bagging operation to handfill & help load sandbags – sandbag machine running flat out but long line up there.
