Passing on the Vacation Property
Whiteshell Cottagers Association has finalized arrangements for a Succession planning/ Tax strategies seminar specifically for cottage owners, put on by INVESTORS GROUP.
When the WCA tested the reception of cottage owners on WCA hosting such an event, the response was overwhelming. The planned Venue has a capacity of 150 & early indications are the event will quickly sell out.
There is NO CHARGE for Whiteshell Cottagers Association members to attend and registration will be limited to WCA members initially.
NOW IS THE TIME TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR MEMBERSHIP. We expect seminar registration to open within the next 1-2 weeks

The North Whiteshell Trails Association still needs a few more volunteers to fill board positions. (a few did step forward in our call for volunteers last week). One or two hours per month of your time, and the formation of a board, will open access to funding possibilities, provide oversight of the trails, & ensure the trails are the best they can be (and improved). Cottagers, seasonal campers, other trail lovers, anyone that loves our Park – please help.Email the North Whiteshell Trails Association at (DJ Seales) dj.seales@gmail.com or message me here on our Facebook page & I’ll pass your information on (I know DJ well & he’s very easy to work with)More information can also be found at whiteshellcottagers.com/whiteshell_news/trail-volunteers-stewards-caretakers-needed/Coincidently maybe you saw the front page story in the Sunday Winnipeg Free Press that starts with…..“Nature prescription could be just what the doctor ordered”“TAKE a hike in the forest and call me in the morning”.“Instead of prescribing just a pill or ointment, doctors could soon tell patients to head to the great outdoors.” ...
