May 20 Morning Wildfire Update

8:30 AM update

Some rain was received yesterday evening and overnight.  Conservation and Climate are assessing the conditions.

Highway 307 has been reopened.

The latest  Natural Resources Canada Map gives us an idea of the location and size of the 2 fires at 8:30 AM.  There are no hot spots near Sailing Lake.

The Manitoba Fireview Maps at https://www.gov.mb.ca/sd/fire/Fire-Maps/fireview/fireview_map.html have not been fully updated as of this morning but keep checking back for status information.
