JULY 16 WHITESHELL WILDFIRE UPDATE

Posted on: July 16, 2021  |   ,

No new fires have been identified today and the ones from earlier in the week are under control.

Manitoba Parks informed us that park users can expect to see a fire fighting pumper truck.  The pumper truck is a temporary precaution provided for the North Whiteshell. The precaution is due to the extreme fire danger during the weekend. As fire levels decrease the truck will be re-evaluated by Manitoba Wildfire Service and Manitoba Parks with assistance from The Office of the Fire Commissioner.
