ATVs are Not Authorized in the Whiteshell

Posted on: May 11, 2021  |

Manitoba Parks would like to remind us that ATV’s are not authorized for use in Whiteshell Provincial Park during the summer at any time unless it’s for retrieving big game during hunting season.

Exceptions can be made for cottagers that require an ATV to access their remote cottage.  Anyone using an ATV to access their cottage requires an ATV permit.  During the current fire restrictions /  motorized backcountry travel ban , they require a travel permit as well.

Those who are continuing to use ATV’s without a parks ATV permit, and now also without a travel permit, will be followed up with enforcement action.

Any questions or concerns please contact Manitoba Conservation and Climate at 204 345 1444
