Manitoba Parks has advised that the Sturgeon Falls Trail remains closed and will continue to be closed until further notice.

The closure remains in place to help protect public safety. Visitors are asked to respect all posted signs and barriers and avoid entering the closed trail.

The good news is that the following remain open for public use:

• The Trans Canada Trail
• The Whiteshell River Suspension Bridge

Visitors planning to hike or explore the area are encouraged to use the open trails and exercise caution, particularly following the recent storms, as fallen trees and other hazards may still be present in some areas.

The Whiteshell Cottagers Association will continue to share updates as they become available.
