Canada 150 Tree Planting

Saturday, July 1, 2017
12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Alfred Hole Goose Sanctuary

Celebrate Canada 150 by planting white spruce trees in a maple leaf formation at the Goose Sanctuary! Bring the family to join the fun and plant a tree together to be seen for generations to come.

Join us afterwards in the Visitor Centre for refreshments.

Tree Seedling Giveaway

We’re giving away white spruce seedlings at parks across the province today to celebrate Canada’s sesquicentennial. Pick yours up at the Alfred Hole Goose Sanctuary, Whiteshell Fish Hatchery or any campground office to plant at home in honour of Canada 150. (While supplies last.)

Interpretive events are free for everyone to attend! Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to all events. Events begin promptly as scheduled. For more information, please call the Park Interpreter’s office at 204-369-3157 or email ParkInterpretation@gov.mb.ca.
