Grandparents Day With The Trappers

Saturday, September 10, 2016 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Location: Alfred Hole Goose Sanctuary
Listen in on Whiteshell trappers as they pass on stories from the trap line and how trapping has evolved over the years.
Discover the many furbearing animals in the park and what makes each one unique.
Afterwards, roast bannock around the campfire. Be sure to bring a bowl for mixing and a mug for hot chocolate!
Grandparents attending this program with their families will receive a complimentary park vehicle permit for the day!
The Alfred Hole Goose Sanctuary is on PTH 44, ½ a kilometre east of the town of Rennie.
Interpretive events are free for everyone to attend! Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to all events. Events begin promptly as scheduled. For more information, please call the Park Interpreter’s office at 204-369-3157 or email Adam.Collicutt@gov.mb.ca.
