SATURDAY JANUARY 28 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Location: Pine Point Trail
Uncover the tricks our toughest birds use to survive the winter on this scenic 5 km trek to the Pine Point Rapids. At the rapids, we’ll warm up with hot chocolate and s’mores. We’ll provide the snowshoes, or bring your own!

SATURDAY FEBRUARY 18 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Location: Pine Point Trail
Animals that can’t take the cold hibernate or migrate. But what if you’re rooted into the ground? Ski along with a Park Interpreter to discover how our plants survive the winter. We’ll warm up at the rapids with hot chocolate and take in the beauty of the site. Be sure to bring a mug for hot chocolate and your pair of skis!
INVADING PIRATES
Family Program
SATURDAY MARCH 25 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Location: Alfred Hole Goose Sanctuary
Search our watercraft on this family fun scavenger hunt for aquatic invasive species. Discover where to look for them and how to prevent their spread to your favourite lake. After your adventure relax around the fire and enjoy free hot dogs! Be sure to bring a mug for hot chocolate!
Interpretive events are free for everyone to attend!
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to all events. Events begin promptly as scheduled.
